Word of God - everyone hears it according to their level of consciousness and the requirements of the age

God has spoken and continues to speak through the whole of creation and in the heart of every person. So it is wrong to say that he spoke only to this prophet or that founder of a religion. It would be more correct to say that some people listen to him and hear him better than others. God speaks – he is always speaking – and each person hears him according to their level of consciousness. And I should also add that what people have heard and reported was inevitably determined by the situation, problems and mentality of their time. As regards the main principles, they have all said the same thing. But when you go into the details, it is a different matter. The things they prescribed were no doubt acceptable and even necessary a few centuries or millennia ago, because they answered certain needs and represented true progress at that time. However, we have to admit that some things are no longer acceptable, because they are inappropriate for this day and age.
