Word (divine) - the sephirah Chokmah

Plants and animals all have their own kind of language. But humans are the only living beings to possess speech. It is thanks to speech that cultures and civilizations have flourished, and also thanks to speech that humans can become all-powerful. True magic, divine magic, is luminous, harmonious, musical speech, the speech that comes from God, the Christ and the Word. On the sephirotic tree, the Word is represented by the sephirah Chokmah, wisdom, the first emanation of the sephirah Kether, the crown. Chokmah contains all the elements, letters and numbers God used to create the universe. The Christ is the Word of God, the universal key that opens life’s doors. Those who learn how to work on their speech so that it becomes powerful, alive and harmonious will one day gain possession of this key. With it they will be able to work wonders, on themselves first, then on others and on the whole of nature. This is the extraordinary destiny awaiting human beings: to be able to have an effect on the whole of creation through the spoken word.
