True Food - the fire of divine love and the light of divine wisdom

Light and fire: these are true food. Those who sever their link with light and fire, who cut themselves off from the sun, are condemning themselves to spiritual death. To eat, drink and breathe may suffice for physical life, but in order to live spiritually, we must nourish ourselves spiritually with the warmth, light and fire of which the sun is the symbol. The Creator has designed things in such a way that, even though they do not know it, human beings are nourished by the light and warmth of the sun. The happiness they experience when they see the sun and expose themselves to its rays is, in itself, a form of nourishment. Indeed, if the human race still exists, it is thanks to this unconscious form of nourishment. But from now on, we must learn to nourish ourselves consciously by exposing ourselves to these divine energies, and by absorbing them with the desire to transform ourselves. This is our true food: the fire of divine love and the light of divine wisdom. Those who understand this will experience true life.*
