Sacrifices - those made for a sublime idea transform everything into gold

Every sacrifice we make for a sublime idea is transformed into gold, into light. That is the secret: the idea for which you work. If you work only for yourself, the effort you put into satisfying your own desires, needs, instincts, passions and greed is, in fact, energy lost. The importance of the idea behind an action is not generally understood. Magic lies in an idea, a divine idea – the philosopher’s stone that transforms everything into gold. That is why I say, ‘Work so that light may triumph throughout the world, so that all people become increasingly aware of the bond that unites them as brothers and sisters, so that the kingdom of God may come on earth.’ Everything you do to advance this idea is transformed into gold – into health, beauty, light and strength.*
