Prayer - the efficacy of prayer is in its intensity

You say that you pray but that you do not know whether heaven hears your prayers or not. Yet it is possible to know this: if you feel that you have been strengthened and are more fulfilled after praying, it is a sign that heaven has heard your prayer. This does not mean that you will immediately see any visible, tangible results. No, realization will not happen at once, but heaven has nevertheless heard your prayer and that is what matters: to sense that your prayer has been heard. The efficacy of prayer is in its intensity, and the intensity of prayer depends on the ability to detach one’s thoughts and feelings from all extraneous preoccupations. So, for a brief moment, put aside all other considerations and immerse yourself in intense spiritual work, for that is the only way to be sure that heaven will hear and grant your prayer.
