Love - whatever form it takes, God is present

No one doubts that there is nothing more beautiful, greater or more important than love. But all too often it is combined with instinctual, passionate elements, which prevent its true nature from appearing. Have you ever seen an animal being born? A puppy, a tiny calf or a tiny kid is quite dirty, and its mother licks it clean. And a new born child is also bathed. Well, it should be the same with love: love is a child, a divine child, for, whatever form the love takes, God is present. Even the most selfish, debased, sensual love contains a divine quintessence. If it is impossible to recognize, it is because it is enveloped by too many crude and impure elements, on account of the swamp-like regions the human heart has caused it to travel through. But purify it, strengthen it, free it, and then you will know what true love is.
