Knowledge, the master’s - must meet with the disciple’s good will

Humans are constantly busy making plans. That is one thing you can be sure of - there is plenty of planning. But what kind of plans are they? They are rarely, very rarely, about becoming servants of God, vehicles for the light. It would be easy to give people the resources for doing this, but the hardest part is getting them to consider such an ideal. Even the Lord is unable to give them the wish to do so. Humans have to want to do it themselves. No one can want it for them, just as no one can be hungry and eat for them. A master offers you all kinds of food, symbolically speaking, but you do the eating; the master cannot do it in your place. If he does the eating for you, he will 'put on weight' and you will 'lose weight'! A master gives you knowledge, but the willingness to accept it and apply it must come from you. When your master's knowledge meets with your good will, the results are magnificent.
