Inner realisations - are the only lasting ones

As long as you place your confidence in material achievements, you will end up feeling disappointed. Why? Because, given their nature, these things do not last. So, set material preoccupations aside for a while and do your utmost to reach the most inaccessible Being, God Himself, or your Higher Self, so that it descends and manifests in you. Then, yes, you will know true accomplishment, true realizations within you, in your consciousness, which are not only immediate but lasting. To achieve such realizations, concentrate on a sublime ideal. Although you know in advance it will perhaps never materialize on the physical plane, you will experience its realization within you; you will live it at that very instant, and it will never leave you.
