Imprint that God has left in us, the - it compels us to seek him

By creating mankind in his image, the Creator has inscribed upon the soul of his creatures an impression of himself. This indelible impression is the cause of the feeling of want and dissatisfaction that all men and women will continue to have, until the day they decide to seek this image within themselves. They will search, they will have experiences – some happy, some not – they will believe that they will finally have a chance at happiness and plenitude, but they will always be disappointed, because they will feel that something essential is still missing. This disappointment, each time so very painful, is in reality a blessing, because it is what drives the human soul ever forward, looking and searching all the time, in order to come closer to the Beloved, to the cosmic Spirit, to the Creator, and unite with him.
