God - by spiritualizing our own life we find his presence within us and in all beings

God has given us life, but in order to be truly alive we must not remain idle. It is up to us to strengthen the life we have received, to make it more beautiful and subtle. There are infinite degrees of life. Those who remain in the lower degrees can only communicate with the realities that exist at their level. They cut their inner connection with the divine Source and, as a result, gradually begin to feel that nothing has meaning, that there is no longer a higher power – call it God or by any other name – governing the universe. When their consciousness remains so low, how can they grasp anything of the sublime realities, and how can they rejoice in the existence of God? They do not feel him either inside or outside themselves. To feel the divine life, we must first spiritualize our own life. Only the divine life within us can awaken our spiritual centres, which will allow us to feel the presence of God within us, as well as in every being and every thing.
