Word, the - the science of correspondences between letters and forces

There is no science more exalted than the science of the divine Word, which treats the twenty-two elements, the twenty-two forces represented by the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The Cabbalah tells us that it is with these that God created the world. To learn the science of the divine Word is to learn how to combine its twenty-two elements in the three worlds in such a way that they create harmony in our thoughts, feelings and actions. When there is disorder within us, it is because the ‘words’ are jumbled up or poorly combined. Very few human beings possess the science of the Word, that is, the science of the correspondences between the letters and the forces. Those who possess this science and who know how to arrange these letters are able to establish a true bond between heaven and earth.
