Way of life - change it by putting your life in order

Through prayer and meditation, you do work by means of thought, but if you do not begin by putting your life in order, your very lifestyle will destroy your work. You can pray, meditate and even practise all the yoga exercises you want, but unless you make up your mind to really change your life, all these meditations and exercises will be of little use. We can compare this to what happens in the realm of health: someone who merely swallows medicines and follows treatments without changing their way of life is only using stop-gap measures. We must understand that the only truly effective method is to change our way of life. This requires a change of attitude, a change in thinking and feeling.
