Renewing oneself - so as to always inspire interest and affection

Why do some people always have the same set, expressionless face? They do not realize how unpleasant it is for others to have to look at someone who never expresses anything new and alive. And yet this is one of the main reasons why people leave each other: they have had enough of their husband’s or wife’s same expressions, same gestures, same attitudes, enough of hearing the same words. How boring! They do not know how to renew themselves, and so eventually the other person tires of such monotony and seeks distraction elsewhere. So few people have ever considered that in order to make daily life bearable they need to bring some liveliness, variety, poetry to it. So, be careful; if you always present the same appearance, others will tire of you and turn away from you. Know how to renew yourself, and everyone will love you, because something expressive, alive and vibrant will emanate from you.
