Working for the kingdom of God gives meaning to life - You will discover the meaning of life only when you decide to work for the coming of the kingdom of God and his righteousness

You will discover the meaning of life only when you decide to work for the coming of the kingdom of God and his righteousness. For then, whatever happens, you know that you are a worker in the vineyard of the Lord, and you feel fulfilled, happy and supported, because you are participating in an immense enterprise. You are not alone, you are not abandoned. Each one of you can discover the meaning of life this very day, for today, instead of working only for yourself and the satisfaction of your own needs, you can say, ‘From now on, I will work for the kingdom of God and his righteousness.’ Then, even if you are a nonentity on earth, your name will be inscribed in the Book of Life and heavenly blessings will pour down on you. There is nothing more glorious than to take part in this work. Yes, you must continually go further, expand and broaden your aspirations: it is this that truly gives meaning to life.
