Wishes - when they come true, you need to be equal to the situation

It is natural to have wishes, but will you be equal to the situation when they come true? That is quite another matter. Take, for example, a boy who dreams of marrying a gorgeous girl he has met at a dance. After many twists and turns – for he is obviously not the only one who has fallen in love with her! – he succeeds in making his dream come true. On the face of it, this is wonderful. But since he lacks wisdom and control, all his lower instincts, such as suspicion and jealousy, begin to come to the fore. He watches his wife and all those who come near her; he thinks she is deceiving him, to the point where, one day, driven completely mad, he murders her and ends up in prison. Of course, this story is a little simplified, but it is on the whole what happens to people who want to satisfy their desires at any cost without truly knowing themselves and without having worked on their character. You may want to marry the most beautiful girl in the world, be appointed minister or elected president, win the jackpot in the lottery, and so on, and it can be done. But how long will your happiness at having been successful last? Already, next day, the problems begin. And, then, are you ready to face them?
