Thank - when you awake, say, ‘Thank you Lord! Thank you!’

Human beings’ greatest sin is ingratitude. They know only how to clamour and demand things, shout and rebel. But what have they ever done to earn the right to make such demands? Nothing! And this is why heaven closes its doors to their demands and leaves them to flounder in their difficulties. Have you any idea how many billions and billions of elements and particles are involved simply in keeping you alive? No, and you are always dissatisfied and resentful. Learn to be grateful! Tomorrow morning, as soon as you get up, thank the Lord for your good health—for many people will never wake up again, or will wake up paralyzed. Say, ‘Thank you, Lord; You have given me life and health again today so that I may do your will.’ When heaven sees this rare phenomenon—a grateful person who keeps saying, ‘Thank you, God. Thank you!’—it is so astonished and delighted that it showers all its blessings on them.*
