Stars - contemplating them puts our problems and worries into perspective

When you feel weighed down by worries and sorrow, look up at the starry night sky and reflect on how tiny this earth is within the infinity of space. Consider how the One who created so many worlds must surely have peopled them with beings far more intelligent, beautiful and powerful than us. For when we see how these puny humans argue, bicker and slaughter each other, how can we believe that the earth – a mere speck of dust in the immensity of space – is where the Creator has placed the most perfect beings in existence? Beneath the stars, all the problems that take on such gigantic proportions in your minds come to seem infinitesimal. Remembering that these stars have been in existence for billions of years, that the Intelligence that created this world is eternal, and that you are created in the same image, you feel your spirit to be eternal, too, and understand that nothing can really trouble you.*
