Spiritual work - continue your work and it will speak for you

Do your spiritual work and let this work recommend you to others. Your work will speak for you. You must continue to work until the end and die standing, without ever giving up. It is no disgrace to fall, but the sole honour is to die faithful to one’s post, like the captain on his ship. Since you must inevitably die one day, you might as well die properly! You must sacrifice everything for work, and work will give you the rest; if it is done well, glory may even come your way. This is what we have not yet understood. All those who seek only money or fame without worrying about the way they do their work will encounter disappointment. You will obtain true wealth and glory only if you do your work honestly with light.
