Skin - it possesses veritable antennas that absorb and emit fluids

The skin possesses veritable antennas and radar by means of which we both absorb and emit fluids. From time immemorial, magicians and sorcerers, who knew about these things, have performed their magic rites in the nude, because this enabled them to pick up the influences of the invisible spirits and to project forces to work their will on people or objects. Other magical practices include rubbing the body with certain ointments that affect the nervous system and cause a person to leave their physical body and travel through space. It is now known that many so-called witches who claimed to have been present at a sabbath had done no more than smear their bodies with certain substances, which, when absorbed by the skin, caused them to disassociate. These women had indeed attended the sabbath, however, not in their physical bodies, but in their astral bodies.
