Results - to obtain results, you must persevere in your spiritual work

A truly spiritual person will never give up the divine work they have begun whatever may come to pass. Even amid the worst ordeals, they say to themselves, ‘Here is yet another opportunity to mobilize all these hostile forces and harness them to my own work.’ Yet, through sheer carelessness, most human beings manage to demolish all the positive gains they have made even when nothing bad befalls them. They create and destroy, create and destroy, over and over, which is why they never achieve anything. To obtain results, you must persevere in your spiritual work. That is to say, you have to put everything to use – the good and the bad, the joys and sorrows, hope and discouragement. Yes, everything must be at the service of this work. This can truly be called building, because each day brings new elements.
