Presence of God - his manifestations in man
The higher desires which manifest in man are the expression of the Divinity. It is through these higher aspirations as well as our work for the benefit of others that we witness the presence of God. As our consciousness gradually expands, perceptions of another order come to us. It is as if another life – the life of this sublime Being – were being infused in us, and we are inhabited more and more fully by his presence. By intensifying this presence, we gradually merge with it, until one day we resemble the Divinity.
