Mountain summit, the - symbol of the spiritual goal to be attained

The image of a summit is one of the most significant representations of our spiritual development. The summit is the goal to be attained, the most elevated point upon which we must fix our sights and toward which we must direct all our energies. This is why it is important for us to pay attention to all that summits, and particularly mountains, symbolize. For mountains can be much more than places we go to breathe pure air, relax, or engage in sports – they also have their place in spiritual exercises. Whenever you have the opportunity, try to make contact with mountain peaks. Even if you live far away from them, raise your hand towards them, greet the beings living there, and ask that you may enter into their purity and light. In this way, you will learn to form connections with the summits of the highest mountains on earth, and you will receive the best nourishment for your soul and spirit from them.
