Messages from heaven - conditions for receiving them

Never complain that you have been abandoned by heaven, for heaven speaks to you every day, sending you messages and giving you answers. So, why don’t you receive them? Because they come to you from a space whose substance is extremely subtle, and to reach you they have to pass through all the opaque layers you have accumulated around you. And so, they are subject to distortions, like a stick you plunge into a transparent container of water – at the precise spot where it enters the water it looks broken. This can be explained by the fact that air and water are of a different density and, therefore, do not have the same refractive index. It is the same on the psychic plane: the further the currents from the spiritual world have to descend into dense matter, the more they are subject to distortion. To receive them as they really are, you have to be able to rise in thought to the subtle world where the currents originate. A dense brain cannot receive messages from heaven, or more precisely it receives them distorted, having distorted them itself. Try, therefore, to purify yourselves, to refine yourselves, to ennoble yourselves; only then will you receive clear, limpid, true responses from heaven.
