Love - we can adopt several attitudes towards it

We can adopt several attitudes towards love. We can eat it, we can drink it, we can breathe it in, and we can live in it. People who eat love stay on the physical plane, and they are never satisfied because they settle for inferior pleasures. People who drink love taste pleasures that are less crude, but their satisfaction is still found in the delights of the astral plane. The person who has succeeded in reaching the regions of the mental plane, thanks to art or philosophy, breathes love. As for those who live in love—in the subtle, etheric dimension of love—they possess it as light in their spirit and warmth in their heart, and they spread this light and warmth over all who are near them. Whoever lives in this kind of love savours plenitude.*
