Life - is what we have in common with God and all creatures
For so many men and women, life is interesting only when it is lived in extremes. They want to experience intense sensations, even if it means killing themselves in the process. Do they ever wonder whether God intended them to live life this way, or whether there are other ways to live intensely? No, most people have a notion of life that leads them to death—either to physical or spiritual death, and often to both. We will all die one day, of course, but this should not prevent us from concentrating all our efforts on life, because it is life that we have in common with God and with everything that exists in the universe. In becoming alive ourselves, then, we enter into communication with God, with all creatures and with the entire universe.
