Life is in our image - beautiful when we are beautiful

Life is a faithful reflection of yourself. If you say that life is beautiful it is because you are beautiful.* And if you think that it is absurd or hideous, is it not because you are catching a glimpse of yourself in a mirror? Life is in our image: we see in it only what we have within us. This is why each life is different from every other. We speak about ‘life’ thinking that we know what we are talking about. We imagine that everybody has the same degree and the same quality of life, but this is not so. Each individual speaks of ‘life’ only on their own level and from their own experience of it. But we do not know what true life is, in all its breadth and splendour and immensity. The most we can do is get a little closer to it, and we can only do this if we are able to restore the ties that link us to the world of the soul and the spirit.
