Good - exists and always triumphs in the end

The good exists, and not only does it exist, but over time we cannot help but observe that in the end it always triumphs. Well then, you must never become discouraged on the pretext that you see evil creating havoc everywhere in the world. Maintain an unshakeable faith in the good, or eventually you will even lose faith in the good within yourself and will be subject to the greatest dangers. Suppose there is only evil at work around you (which after all is not the case!); it is always possible to cling to the good within you and to reinforce it, to intensify it. Doesn’t this give you a conviction and an activity which, no matter what happens, encourages you and gives meaning to your life?
