Gifts and qualities - every human being must work to regain them in each incarnation

Whatever degree of evolution they obtained in previous incarnations, all human beings who incarnate on earth must begin learning and training again. This is a law. Even when the great geniuses of the past reincarnate, they have to learn their subject again and practise. What sets them apart from others is the fact that they get much faster results, but everyone, without exception, must set to work again so that their qualities can fully manifest once more in this lifetime. If Mozart had not been born into a family of musicians, where he had the conditions he needed to learn and to develop the gifts he had brought back with him from the past, his genius would perhaps not have revealed itself in such a brilliant fashion. Even initiates, even great spiritual Masters, despite the powers and the knowledge acquired in their previous incarnations, have to work in order to regain this knowledge and power. So, how much more effort is required of those who did not reach such a degree of evolution!
