Four Elements - they respect only the image of God

The day you succeed in reproducing within yourself the image of God, the spirits of nature and the four elements will be your servants. If you ask them for something, they will be happy to grant it, because they can see this image in you and it is the only one that commands their respect. If they cannot see that image, not only will they oppose you, but they may even destroy you. This is how many black magicians who tried to command the spirits of nature became their victims – the spirits sought revenge and tore them apart, for they hate to obey people who have no love, purity or light, and who try to impose their will on them by means of magic spells. The only power they respect is the light projected by an Initiate who has succeeded in reproducing within themself the authentic image of God.*
