Energies - we must concern ourselves with the manner in which we use them

It is written in the great Book of Living Nature that it is of the utmost importance for the evolution of each human being that they know exactly how and where they expend their energies, and what use they make of them. We have been given this energy so that we may live, but unfortunately, very few people take proper care of it, very few appreciate how precious it is, or how hard Nature has worked to give it to them. The majority squander their energies on useless or criminal pursuits, or in sensual excesses, and this is how all these energies go to nourish the forces of hell. Does that surprise you? Yes, it is human beings who feed hell: through their ignorance and ill will they sustain, maintain and feed hell. That is why, those who truly wish to advance along the path of evolution, must first concern themselves with the manner in which they use their energies.*
