Conviction - one of the greatest forces that exists

We have seen people sweep entire crowds along by their conviction. Even if the ideas they championed were ordinary, second rate or even criminal, the force of their conviction in the end carried away even the most reticent. Conviction is one of the greatest forces that exists: it can ravage and destroy if it is directed towards evil, but it can also transform the world when it emanates from a divine idea and works for the good. The conviction of a spiritualist is founded on his knowledge of divine laws, and on his experiences in past and present incarnations. When he has acquired this knowledge and has lived it, he is sustained by an unshakeable conviction that renders him all-powerful. If he lacks this conviction, it means his knowledge is incomplete.
