Consciousness, state of - mastering it enables us to stand up to our lower nature

Humans make so many mistakes, because they are not in control of their state of consciousness! They do not realize they are giving in to all kinds of wills that are attempting to influence them. Disciples understand that they must be lucid but also that they must deal firmly with all those inner entities (belly, stomach, sexual organs, liver, brain, heart…) endlessly sending their representatives to make complaints. Of course, they cannot prevent some suggestions from reaching their consciousness as images or instinctive impulses and trying to interfere with their spiritual work, but they must not give in to them. Only on these conditions will they lead an independent life. So try to realize that all the discordant wills expressing themselves within you must be brought under control and put to work in the interest of your whole being. Impose on them the law of the spirit, so that your consciousness may become superconsciousness.
