God - He loves even harsh and wicked people

God never gets that angry with sinners. He says, ‘My son is amazing; what energy, what activity! He does a lot of damage, of course, because he still hasn’t learned how to work. He knocks people out but that is his way of making music: the only instrument he knows is the big drum.’ No, God does not give up on people. He knows that He will be able to do wonders one day with someone who is so active and resolute. Why was Saul, who persecuted the Christians with such zeal, chosen to spread the teaching of Christ?* Precisely because he was so active. God loved him in spite of his harshness and cruelty; He thought, ‘What magnificent work he will accomplish once he finds the right path.’ God does not think as we do. He loves even those who are harsh and wicked. He does not set them aside, for He continues to hope that they will eventually be transformed and surpass even those who are kind and gentle. It has often been noted in schools that the most well-behaved, obedient and diligent children do not always rise above mediocrity, whereas those who are disruptive, unruly and stubborn sometimes turn out to be capable of accomplishing great things later on.
