Meditation - chewing spiritual truths
Meditation can be compared to chewing food. When we put food in our mouth and chew it, the saliva glands work on it, and we absorb the subtlest energies through our tongue. Meditation is also a kind of chewing, a chewing of thoughts, whereby we absorb quintessences from the spiritual world and turn them into food.
