Gifts - bring them to the people we visit

It is customary in every country to bring gifts to those we visit. It is a very old tradition based on the law of never going to visit anyone empty-handed. You should always go to meet someone wishing to bring them something. It is also very important not to greet someone with an empty container because, if you do, you bring that person emptiness for the rest of the day. When you go to meet a friend never hold an empty basket, bucket or bottle. If you absolutely must hold a container then put something in it before you set out. This need not be anything precious, perhaps just water, which is the most precious substance in the eyes of the Creator. Then greet your friend with the thought that you are bringing them health, joy, fulfilment and every blessing.
