Forms - must evolve to express the life of the spirit

Any form tends to become fixed, and if humans are not careful, the spirit that inhabits a form has no further possibility of manifesting itself. So it leaves in search of new forms more suited to what it wants to express. This law is valid in all spheres, even religion. This is why the religions that have obstinately maintained the same forms for centuries are mistaken. Too many believers, instead of understanding that forms should continually evolve to become a greater and better expression of the ever-changing currents of the spirit, try to convince themselves they must preserve their religion in the exact forms in which it was created. And, according to them, this would even be God’s will. Well, no, Cosmic Intelligence has not established anything for ever, and each time humans have refused to allow forms to evolve, events have arisen to cause the disappearance of their doctrines, beliefs and rituals, which they had imagined were valid and established for all time. What humans think is not what Cosmic Intelligence thinks – Cosmic Intelligence has other plans. This is why, through the centuries, we have always seen upheavals, whereby the spirit has shown its refusal to let itself be confined to certain forms.
