Eternity - a fusion of matter and spirit
Eternity is not a succession of centuries. It is, as it were—but it is very difficult to define such a notion—a certain quality of matter. Yes, eternity is a fusion of matter and spirit. When we experience eternity, we experience it as a sensation. And if it is possible for us to have a sensation of eternity, if only for a few seconds, it is because we have entered a higher order of things. We have been projected into a world in which matter is animated by the highest vibrations of the spirit.*
