Fusion of spirit and matter - process which summarises the life of the spiritualist

Matter tends towards the spirit; it wants to rise to meet it, in order to become purer and more subtle. And, conversely, the spirit descends towards matter in order to incarnate and manifest through it. In this way, the beloved departs to meet her beloved, who descends from the heavenly regions, and when they meet somewhere in space, they unite in joy! In the same way, the work of the spiritualist can be characterized by this same process: the meeting of spirit and matter. Whatever they do, whatever their concerns, experiences or plans, they must lead to what I summarize here for you in these words: ‘the spiritualization of matter and the incarnation of the spirit’. For when the spirit descends into the depths of a human being, it transforms the raw material of their passions into beauty, purity, light, nobility and love.
