Food - extracting subtle energies from it in order to fuel our spiritual life

You are in the habit of eating while thinking of everything but food. This is why you cannot yet harness all the energies your food contains. You are distracted, your thoughts are scattered, you gulp your food automatically, and even though your organism feels sustained and invigorated, it has in fact only assimilated the crudest and most material elements. You cannot imagine all the energies from which you could benefit if you only knew how to eat in silence, concentrating on your food in order to extract the etheric particles. From now on, try to think of nothing else while you are eating. At least for half an hour, leave everything aside and focus all your attention on your food, so as to extract the subtle energies that will help to fuel your spiritual life.
