Mind - inadequate for knowing the laws of the higher world
How many people imagine they will be successful by relying solely on the workings of their mind! Well, they won’t be; the mind is limited. It is not the mind that possesses true understanding, and those who count on it to solve all their problems risk making serious mistakes. Their actions, inspired solely by self-interest, selfishness and the wish to impose themselves on others take no account of the plans of Cosmic Intelligence. So without knowing it they stir up the dark layers of the psychic atmosphere, provoking fearsome powers, which then loose their fury on them. Cosmic Intelligence has constructed human beings in such a way that they can develop only by respecting the laws of a higher world from which they receive light and strength. And it is not the mind that will allow them to know these laws of the higher world, but the soul and the spirit.
