Love - give first place to the Lord, and then to a partner

I have never said that you should refuse the love of a man or a woman, only that you must know in what order to proceed. Once you have enthroned the Lord in your heart and soul, if you really do not want to be alone, you can form a bond with another person. This is what the disciples of initiatic science do. They begin by giving first place to the Being of all Beings, the Provider of all that is good. They place the Splendour of Splendours, the Light of Lights in their soul, and only then do they choose a partner. Yes, a true disciple, whether man or woman, gives the first place within themself to the Creator as the source of all love, wisdom and truth. After that, they look for the person most able to help them maintain this bond with the Lord. And when they find this person, they take them as their partner on the physical plane because they recognize something in this person that will help them to approach the Source – a messenger who speaks to them of the divine world. This the only way to be sure that they will never lose their love.
