Higher self, our - our only refuge

Any confusion or malaise we might feel warns us that an 'enemy' is after us. To escape, we must seek to reach our higher consciousness and lock ourselves away there, like in a fortress, and not leave, not even to ward off the enemy threatening us. How often have people who tried to fight off their enemies, like certain tendencies and bad instincts, had to admit that all they did was make them even stronger! So forget about these enemies and only concentrate on going within to find refuge in your higher self. On these heights you rise up to, you will receive light, wisdom and strength, and you will then be able to defend yourselves with true weapons.
