Circle with the central point - matter animated by the spirit

Matter is inert and formless until the spirit descends into it to bring it to life. The vivifying spirit is symbolized by a point, and matter by the circle that surrounds it. Cosmic Intelligence has placed this figure of a point surrounded by a circle* throughout the universe. We see it in fruit (the flesh that surrounds a core or seed), in our eyes, in certain parts of men’s and women’s anatomy. It even corresponds to the structure of a cell, of an atom and of the solar system… We see this symbol everywhere we look, for it represents the whole of life, the whole of creation: in the centre of the circle is the point, the Cosmic Spirit that vivifies the universe. Initiates, who understand the potency of this symbol, ask only to possess this point – the spirit – within themselves. And we too are circles; each one of us must ask to receive the central point, the Holy Spirit. As long as we remain a circle without a point, we will be empty and unfulfilled. But the day the central point, the Spirit, comes to dwell within us to animate and illuminate us, we shall be fulfilled.
